Frank Darabont directed Shawshank Redemption, one of the few movies that was a great adaption of a Stephen King story, and now he just finished working on The Mist, which is another Stephen King story.
His next project will be a new movie version of Fahrenheit 451.
If you've seen the old version and read the book you might be thinking why?
I was thinking of all the scenes that they didn't use in the other movie that they could do now in very cool ways as almost a variation on THX1138. With some not so subtle commentary on our current HD TV culture. The hard part would be casting the lead actor but if AICN is right then I'm not worried at all. Tom Hanks could easily play Guy Montag.
